Founded in 1979, Pennsylvania Dance Theatre (PDT) has performed nationally and internationally, becoming a modern dance repertory company of note. Under the guidance since 2003 of German born Artistic Director Andre Koslowski, a professional dancer and well-respected choreographer, PDT’s reputation continues to grow.

This season we continue developing our repertory with new works and commissions, extending our presence in arts in education programs, solidifying corporate movement programs, and building a committed pool of collaborating artists.

News !!

PDT’s repertory concert, tears cries time, will be performed at The State Theatre on July 10, 2009 during the Central PA Festival of the Arts, and will include two world premiere works featuring original composition of music, original set design, and original choreography by internationally and nationally acclaimed artists.

Support

The performing arts contribute significantly to making the Centre Region a great place to live and work. In uncertain times, the arts are more critical than ever. They offer us a respite from turmoil, help us celebrate our shared experiences, and provide insight into our lives. They bring us together and enrich our entire community.

We are grateful for the support we receive from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Centre County Community Foundation, corporate sponsorships, and most of all for the generous contributions we receive from people like you, who care about keeping the arts alive in the Centre Region.

We invite you to partner with PDT to share in our vision by supporting our company’s 2008-2009 season with a tax deductible gift today.
